Marvel Spotlight on the Spider-Woman 32 Color Variant

I always thought that Sal Buscema did the cover since he did the art for the inside pages and no artist signature said other wise on the cover. It was only recently that I discovered that the legendary Gil Kane did the cover (with Klaus Janson on inks). I started comparing the works of both artist and they have similar styles, but Kane's signature fight scenes, figure work and emotionally charged characters really sets him apart. Just look at the expression on Fury's face.

I loved the original origin storyline. Too bad Wolfman retconned it. I've always wondered how Goodwin would have handled Spider-Woman's ongoing title. Maybe Bendis might do another Ultimate version of the original origin storyline. The current Peter Parker Clone in Ultimate Spider-Man I haven't been able to get into.

I muted down most of the background color so not to compete with the foreground. Gave brighter color emphasis on the broken glass. I initially applied a motion blurr with the movement line of some of the broken glass but I thought it started making it too busy for the background. So I just ended up using a slight whit outline for the movement line.
